Wade and Jace had their first tackle football game today! Both played very well and contributed to the win for the season opener for the Mighty Sioux over the Bears. Wade played every offensive play and every kickoff.
Jace offered this post game insight, saying that he knew that they would win, because "Indians always kill bears. "

Geoff, they look lean and mean!!! And, for the record, I don't recall an old fashioned western where the Indians fight bears. As cute as your boy may sound, his anectdotal comments need work. Just thought I'd keep it real.
Hayes, obviously you haven't seen the classic, "Bear Scalper" circa 1964 starring the Duke himself. It's great. Robert and I had it on our netflix.
We wish we could have seen those boys play! I'm sure they are mean and tough!
Hayes, Jace says he can beat you in a push up war, then we will see about your recollection of history. There have been many a bear lose their coats to the native american.
