Here are some of the pics from the Daughtry concert. It was such a fun night! All of the music (there were 3 opening bands) was incredible! One of Robert's old high school friends (another one of his friends who he taught to play guitar) opened with his band.
We got backstage passes so we go to hang out with Chris for a while. He's truly a rock star. It was fun to see how far he had come-even from his American Idol days. His parents were there-as were his brother's family. Very nice people. They were all very glad to see Robert again. And I'll add that they all said (including Chris) that Robert is a big part of why Chris is so successful now!
The week after the concert there was a big article on Chris in the Charlottesville Arts paper, "The Hook" and in that Chris again mentioned how influential Robert was in his career.
Yes. You can feel it. I am beaming with pride. Robert's a rock star! Hooray!

I feel priviledged just being able to rock at Robert's house with Robert's instruments.
Of course, you haven't seen jamming until you've seen my kids play guitar hero! Oh yeah, my husband plays guitar hero too.

absolutely..that is, robert will give a concert. he's pretty affordable!
and of course, I'm fairly affordable, too. i mean, i know we're family, but there's still a booking fee and stuff. i mean, a girl's gotta shop, right?
