Martin's Cove

Dulcie with Natasha, and Tiffany, two of Mel (Dulcie's Sister) and Delbert's girls. In the back ground is "Devil's Gate" it is just west of Independance Rock - a landmark used by the pioneers on all three major trails; Oregon, California and Mormon trails. After Independance Rock the wagon and handcart trails would head west toward Devils Gate - they couldn't actually cross through Devils Gate, the river is as wide as the canyon walls, instead they would cross through Rattlesnake pass, now that doesn't sound good.
Ranen with Sister Davis (a.k.a. Grandma ) In the back ground see "Veil Bridge" an memorial to the Sweetwater rescue of the Martin Handcart Company in 1856.
The Boys with Sister Davis It was great to see Elder and Sister Davis on their Mission. They seem to be really be enjoying their mission.

Martins Cove is about 60 miles south of Casper WY. At over 6,000 ft above sea level. It was still getting into the mid-30s each night we camped out and only got into the mid-60s during the day. The week before we arrived it snowed.

Is that near Lymon? I think I've been there with a college roommate. Looks like y'all had fun!
