Things Change

Everyone -
Sorry I haven't been able to talk to everyone, this weekend; I mean we did install a floor.
Well, my job has changed once again in the Army. I will now be deploying to Iraq in early November for probably 15 months or so.
I am not looking forward to the separation and missing two Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years and one of everything else. But I do know this is important and that my abilities were suited for my units mission of continuing to rebuild Iraq.
I will probably be heading back toward northern Iraq, Mosul, Tal Afar, etc; but don't really know.
Everything changed on Thursday - my boss called me in and told me that he really needed my experience and skills in Iraq and that he would replace me here; so it's still sinking in.

Jon--I'm sorry to have you go, but I know you will do a great job...just like you did before.

Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Love,
Whit

I am really glad you don't have to get left behind, but sad you have to go. You know we'll all be here for your family. We are really proud of all your hard work in Iraq before; and I know you'll make us proud again!

I'm so proud of you, Jon. I'm sad that you have to go and know that you'll miss your family, but you will certainly make us all proud over there. You'll be in our prayers.

Let me know if we can do anything.
We love you all!
love,
les
