Need a new Wallpaper?

I'm constantly looking for high quality background pictures for my computers and I thought it would be nice to share with the family what I believe to be the "holy grail" of free desktop backgrounds. There are so many sites out there with nothing but junk...this site is quite the opposite.

If you decided to download some pictures I have also included some brief instructions on how setup your new background on your machine.

Windows:
1. Download you favorite pick to your desktop (or which ever folder you like)
2. Right click on the Desktop (main screen).
3. Click on 'Properties' in the list that appears.
4. Select 'Desktop' from among the several tabs in the small box that appears.
5. Click on the 'browse' button to choose your picture and simply browse to the folder containing your new wallpapers, select it, and press OK.

Mac:
1. Download you favorite pick to your desktop (or which ever folder you like)
2. Hold down the Control button on your keyboard while clicking on an empty area of your desktop.
3. Choose "Change Desktop Background."
4. Navigate to the photo that you have chosen and click on it.
