I had a lot that I wanted to say, but realized that it would be more appropriate for those who knew her well and cared for her as she got older. Suffice it to say that Cocoa was always the Nana-dog from Peter Pan, worrying about our kids as if they were her own. And, she was also a good chaperone! When Celeste and I were dating and would try to kiss, she would nuzzle her nose in between us (or follow us to the golf course!!).
The above picture is one Celeste took after Cocoa insisted that she be fed the pancakes with powdered sugar.

Our memories of Cocoa were mostly of when she was a puppy. She was a great dog from the day we found her. Whoever lost her when she was a puppy missed out on enjoying the best dog ever! We will miss her! Thanks to Nana, Papa, and Whit for taking such good care of her!! R.I.P. Cocoa
She was such a good girl. I have never met a dog that got jealous of affection and attention the way she did...I mean, I thought I was bad. Cocoa would never let me hug momma wihtout jumping up in the middle of our hugs. I also loved how she loved to go for rides. She even figured out what we were saying when we SPELLED "g.o." I will miss my cocoacita!
